Student Profile

Kalitka Bohdan

I, Bogdan Yuriyovych Kalitka, was born in Agust 1999 in Koranit village, Lugansk oblast, Ukraine. I lived with my parents until I turned 6. They had big fight and subsequently divorced. My father became depressed, got drunk, and committed suicide. My mother found another man and togethe they abusing alcohol a lot because it was hard to find a job in our village and many other people abused alcohol too. I lived with my mother and stepfather. Most of the time there wasn't anyhing to eat. When I was 7, my brother and I were hospitalized because we had health problems. We were sent to a boarding school in Stahanow. I haven’t seen my mom since then and I don’t know where she is now. Soon I was moved to another boarding school in Severodonetsk. I studied well and I have been there until this summer. I am thankful that they have good discipline in that school, even though I and my friends didn’t always follow their rules. Sometimes we smoked or drank. I want to be a programmer and be successful in my life. Right now, I have this opportunity to study at IT Academy Hebron. I hope to be good student and won't let down the people who are doing this.
